Key Account Manager Europe Food Ingredients

Aufgaben
Handling a portfolio of accounts,the account manager will have full account management responsibility with an added brief to develop new business, principally maintaining and developing close working relationships with his customers in order to close complex contracts. To gain a sustainable growth,he has to find innovative solutions in line with strategic growth plans. His strategies have to be aligned with the customers by communication and implementation of strategic plans to provide a good business fit. To ensure customer satisfaction,he has to use marketing-aspects also as operational, technical or regional sales teams.He should also build a strong network with the key decision makers and business leaders during senior level meetings, which he has to arrange and manage.

Profil
Suit a food science/technology graduate with a solid technical knowledge of ingredients. Ideally he will have at least five years experience of selling starch specialities or food ingredients into the European food manufacturers. Key to success is the ability to understand the mentality of the major retailers, strategically take advantage of opportunities utilizing key consumer data and trends and will include project management, account relationship management with excellent communication and negotiating skills. He must be driven by personal and corporate success combined with a commercial understanding, enquiring and consultative approach. Enthusiasm, good communication and great interpersonal skills are essential to be a successful in this position.
